On-site HR administrator role in Sandy, Utah, supporting payroll, timekeeping, attendance, and administrative HR services for a manufacturing workforce, with emphasis on payroll accuracy, compliance, and responsive employee support.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify employee time data in ADP for all departments to ensure accuracy.
- Process and submit the site bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Enter and validate manual time entries resulting from missing or misplaced badges, ensuring daily time data accuracy.
- Maintain Workday records for schedules, including new hires, transfers, and promotions, and ensure updates are reflected in ADP.
- Process leave approvals routed through Sedgwick and ensure correct PTO and vacation allocations and coding.
- Generate and distribute the monthly overtime report.
- Maintain the weekly absenteeism report.
- Support preparation of ad hoc reports and special projects as needed.
- Procure and organize office supplies.
- Oversee empathy policy rollout and manage related invoicing.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely assistance.
- Work overtime as required to support payroll processing and department needs.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with peers, support teams, and management, escalating issues as needed.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations and BD policies, including RCRA Hazardous Waste rules.
- Adhere to BD quality policies and QA principles through consistent application.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of administrative support experience.
- Direct experience with payroll administration and timekeeping processes.
- Experience with payroll or timekeeping software; ADP preferred.
- Flexible schedule including about 4 to 5 hours every other weekend to support timekeeping and payroll processing.
